Hello Friends!
Good afternoon. I hope you all had an enjoyable Labor Day weekend. You can really feel the changing light and the cusp of seasons these days. I am a fan of all the seasons with their unique enchantments!
This idea of enchantment comes from the mindset we try to adopt when practicing Kaiut Yoga! Cultivating curiosity is a way into the nervous system and the mind, and it can help us in those moments when our heart isn’t really in it. The curious, inquisitive body can drag the sluggish mind and reluctant heart along, until the necessary metabolic reset happens. Your body can then provide you with a renewed mood and outlook, and a more positive emotional state. It is a very powerful feedback loop, a form of internal reciprocity that is inherent to Nature.
Many of my teaching colleagues will be traveling over the next few months, so I have the opportunity to practice subbing reciprocity.
Be sure to check the online schedule and preregister for classes if necessary.
Please note the following highlights, and be sure to be preregistered so that you can receive the unique zoom links.
SCHEDULE CHANGE HIGHLIGHTS
I will be subbing all the Wednesday mornings at KYB during September, and at least one Friday, 9/27.
I will be gone Sat 9/21 (no online classes that day).
I added a 10:30am zoom class on Sun 9/22.
I do expect more changes towards the end of September and into October, and I will update things as I know more.
A log-in and password are required on Punchpass to sign up for classes, purchase passes, and view videos.
Thank you for taking the time to read this newsletter and thank you for practicing! Reciprocity is necessary for all humanity and all of Nature, and I deeply appreciate your support and our connection throughout all these years! Thank you for helping me fulfill my duty and purpose.
warmly,
Michelle
INTERVIEW WITH FRANCISCO
I am reposting this interview with Francisco Kaiut for the Permission to Shine Podcast where Francisco discusses what led him to create the method originally and a bit about the evolution of the method. It is worth your time to watch it!
The KYB resources page is a treasure trove of blog articles and e-books about yoga, health, and neuroscience. This can be a great thing to share with someone who wants to know more about Kaiut Yoga!
