Dear Friends, thank you so much for your support and kindness these last few months since I began teaching again at the Somatic Classroom. We have been through so many changes together over these many years, and I miss you all and wish you peace wherever you are! It has not been easy to have your practice routines disrupted, so I am grateful for the chance to work with you again and for your trust in this evolving work, and in me.
The Saturday practice sessions I held in March for the BioDynamic Yoga tribe went well (beyond my expectation!) and I am scheduling 2 more before I head to Telluride – April 20 and May 4. These are open to everyone, and have been very educational and deeply moving for me personally! This is foremost an opportunity for me to gather my oldest and dearest students and to hear your questions and concerns. I have also heard your love and appreciation too – why is that even harder to hear? So I am asking for the opportunity to show you why I love this work so much and to tell you a little more about my story. As you probably know, I am a very private person and that story will never end up on Facebook! My work with you has taught me everything I know about how to read a room and teach to the field, and how to connect and receive from that field – you have made me who I am and I understand even more now how we create each other. I will be attending Kaiut Yoga Teacher Training with Francisco in Telluride from May 9-22. This is a huge honor and a privilege, and I am so excited to be studying again. The community is wonderful: genuine and supportive! I so appreciate being able to share my love of the yoga and science with other dedicated practitioners and teachers. It has a deeply settling effect on my nervous system and my emotions, and as you all know – after this past year I really need that! I will have a modified class schedule at the Somatic Classroom with Kerry Lewis guest teaching for me – more details as soon as everything is confirmed!
